What is the best way to use CALM and DEEP SLEEP?

1. The foundational piece is CALM.  Take 2 capsules every night before bed.
   

2. For additional brain and mood support, take 1 capsules of DEEP SLEEP every night before bed.  (For jet lag or more chronic sleep issues, you may take 2 capsules of DEEP SLEEP before bed)

How often can I use DEEP SLEEP?  Is it habit forming?

DEEP SLEEP is designed to enhance your ability to fall asleep naturally over time.

It is generally regarded as safe for daily use, and has been designed to help our customers come off and stay off medication.

Is CALM safe in pregnancy and breastfeeding?

CALM is made of 100% pure pharmaceutical grade Magnesium Glycinate with no added preservatives or additives.

As many mothers are deficient in Magnesium, it is a fantastic idea to start supplementing with CALM daily to top up your stores and support the healthy development of baby's heart, brain and bones.

Its calming and relaxing effect may aid in achieving better pregnancy, birth and post-partum outcomes.

Is DEEP SLEEP safe in pregnancy and breastfeeding?

Each individual ingredient in DEEP SLEEP has had no record of safety issues in pregnancy or breastfeeding.

With most interventions I’d apply precaution in the first trimester and wait til the pregnancy is established in the second trimester to introduce any new supplements

Can I give CALM to my children?

Absolutely.

1 capsule daily will achieve the RDA for a child 1-9 years old.

2 capsules daily will achieve the RDA for a person over 9 years old.

It is recommended to ensure a balanced diet and lifestyle while using supplements as added support.

 

Can I give DEEP SLEEP to my children?

All the individual ingredients in DEEP SLEEP have been used in all ages with no safety issues reported. 

It is also important to note that research data is limited for children under 3 years.  Apply discretion or seek your physician's advice when using for this paediatric population.

Can I open up the capsules into a drink?

Yes you can!

Our pills are made without fillers and binders, and they are fine ground for maximum solubility.  Opening them up into a drink is a great solution for children, as well as those who want quicker absorption that is even more gentle on the stomach.

CALM contents are best combined with a squeeze of lemon or citric acid to neutralise its taste.  

DEEP SLEEP contents can be combined with CALM in the same drink.

What does pharmaceutical grade mean?

Nutritional supplements are available in five different categories: pharmaceutical grade, medical grade, cosmetic or nutritional grade, food grade and lastly, feed or agricultural grade.

Pharmaceutical grade is the highest quality grade of vitamins, meaning the purity, dissolution and absorption meet the highest regulatory standard verified by an outside party.

Medical grade vitamins are also a high-grade vitamin, although they may not meet all of the standards of pharmaceutical grade vitamins. Prenatal vitamins typically fall into this category.

Cosmetic or nutritional grade supplements are typically sold in health food stores. These supplements might not always be tested for absorption, dissolution or purity. Additionally, these supplements do not always have the same concentrations of active ingredients as what is listed on the label.

Then comes food grade that meets basic standards for human consumption but not optimised for purity or efficacy.

Lastly, feed grade for animals, contains the most impurities and microorganisms not suitable for human use.

Can I combine them with the medications that I’m currently on?

Our formulas are designed to be combined safely and effectively with pharmaceuticals, however it is a good idea to ensure your leading physician is aware of the supplements you are using. 

I heard there are many forms of Magnesium besides Magnesium Glycinate.  Could another form of Magnesium be better for my needs?

Magnesium Glycinate is one of the most stable and highly bioavailable chelate mineral complexes.

Patients who have deep depletions of intracellular Magnesium need high amounts of Magnesium, fast, and safely.  The Glycinate form gives the least side effects, greatest all round improvements and a small pill burden.

 

What is the recommended daily allowance for Magnesium?

The maximum recommended daily dose of elemental magnesium from food and supplements is 420 mg for males and 350 mg for females.

However, some factors may influence your required dose, such as age and health conditions.

2 capsules of CALM provides 200mg of elemental Magnesium and is an ideal amount to supplement a diet rich in whole foods.

 

Do I need to test my Magnesium levels before taking it?

As only 1% of your total body Magnesium is in the blood serum, depletion is not accurately reflected in blood levels. 

You could have a normal serum Magnesium level while your red blood cells, muscles and bones experience depletion.  

When you take your CALM daily, and feel a notable difference, it is a good sign your body was in need of it.

Can you share more about your manufacturing procedures?

In the pursuit of purity and excipient-free supplements, we small batch craft them from scratch.

This is done in a similar way to when we used to create personalised supplements for each individual private patient.

High purity ingredients with corresponding certifications are sourced from approved facilities in Australia and USA.

The ingredients are then are shipped to our ISO certified lab in Singapore to be dosed,  encapsulated and bottled under strict antimicrobial conditions.

The finished product is then third party tested for heavy metals and microbes with satisfactory results before shipping out for use.

Having this traceability from start to finish provides the assurance you are getting the highest grade active ingredient without additives nor contaminants.
